Ward Hill Businesses Collect Food for Needy Families

Businesses in the Ward Hill Business Park are stepping up again this year to provide food for needy families in time for Thanksgiving.

The Ward Hill Park Association is having a food drive to benefit the Sacred Hearts Food Pantry and the many individuals and families it serves. Businesses will collect food for pick up by the pantry on Thursday Nov. 20, 2014—a week before Thanksgiving.

Donations from others are also accepted at the Sacred Hearts Food Pantry. All foods are accepted, but there is a particular need for the items below.

  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly
  • Marshmallow Fluff
  • Toilet tissue
  • Paper towels
  • Baked beans
  • Soup
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Razors
  • Sugar (1lb. boxes)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Toothpaste
  • Tooth brushes
  • Ketchup
  • Coffee (1lb. cans)
  • Pasta
  • Salt
  • Pepper
