Two people are facing drug-related charges after their arrests during separate traffic stops by Haverhill Police Wednesday.
Police report 25-year-old Jean Valentin of Lawrence was arrested shortly before 1:30 p.m., Wednesday at 79 Fifth Ave. He is charged with operating a motor vehicle after license suspension and possession of a class C substance.
In a separate traffic stop, 27-year-old Anthony Defrancesco of Plaistow, N.H., was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant charging him with possession of a class D drug with intent to distribute and a school zone violation. That arrest occurred shortly after 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, at 205 Broadway.
