A Lawrence woman is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court following her arrest late last night in connection with an alleged home invasion incident.
Haverhill Police report 19-year-old Selina Diaz of Lawrence was arrested shortly after 11:30, last night ,at 99 ½ High Street. She is charged with home invasion, larceny over $250, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon. An investigation is ongoing.
In other police news, a Haverhill man is facing theft-related charges from police following an investigation. Haverhill Police report 40-year-old Derek Scatamacchia of Haverhill was arrested at police headquarters on warrants at 3 p.m. ,Tuesday. He is charged with larceny under $250 and two counts of larceny by check over $250. No further details are available.
