Police Arrest Man on ‘Stun Gun’ Possession

A Haverhill man is due in court to face a weapons charge following his arrest Thursday night. Haverhill Police report 27-year-old Clyde Baptiste-Jean of Haverhill was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging him with carrying a dangerous weapon, a stun gun. The arrest occurred at 8:18 p.m., Thursday on Pentucket Street. No further details are available.

In other police news, a Nashua, New Hampshire man is facing drug-related charges following his arrest Thursday night during a police traffic stop. Haverhill Police report 30-year-old Aaron Sherman of Nashua was arrested on an outstanding warrant at 10:45, Thursday night, at the junction of Interstate 495 at River Street. He is charged with possession of a class A substance and giving a false name to police.
