Police Charge Salem, N.H. Woman with Third DWI

A Salem, New Hampshire woman accused of repeat drunk driving is facing new charges in Haverhill after her arrest over the weekend.

Haverhill Police report 37-year-old Kerry Gilbert of Salem, N.H. was arrested early Saturday on Altamont Street. She is charged with operating under the influence of liquor, third offense, as well as operating a motor vehicle after license revocation, subsequent offense.

Other charges include negligent operation of a motor vehicle and operating under the influence while license was suspended for OUI.

In other police news, a Haverhill man is due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on multiple charges for alleged theft involving false checks. Haverhill Police report 26-year-old Tyler Beauregard of Haverhill was arrested at police headquarters Saturday following an investigation. He is charged with four counts of larceny by check, uttering a false check and forgery of a check. He was also charged with single counts of breaking and entering a building and larceny over $250. He was also arrested on three outstanding warrants.
