Two people, including a Haverhill woman, are due to be arraigned in Haverhill District Court on charges stemming from a larceny investigation. Haverhill Police report 34-year-old Tiffany A. Trillo of Haverhill and 27-year-old Nicholas L. McClellan of Amesbury were arrested on warrants shortly after 9:30, Sunday night at 12 Grand Avenue. Trillo is charged with larceny over $250. McClellan is charged with malicious destruction of property over $250, malicious damage to a motor vehicle and assault with a dangerous weapon. No further details are available.
In other police news, two Haverhill residents arrested on various motor vehicle charges as the result of a traffic stop Saturday evening. Haverhill Police report 23-year-old Keith A. Steele and 21-year-old Renee M. Dupuis were taken into custody shortly before 6 p.m., Saturday at the intersection of Main Street and Plaistow Road. Steele is charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Dupuis was arrested on an outstanding warrant charging her with operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operation with a suspended license. They are due to be arraigned on the charges in Haverhill District Court.
Haverhill Police continue efforts to curb the quality of life issue of public drinking targeted within the inner city. Three Haverhill residents arrested over the weekend, each charged with a single count of drinking in public. The arrests took place between Friday evening and Saturday night at GAR Park, Vine Street and on Winter Street.
