Haverhill residents over 60 once again have access to free produce this summer through a local harvest distribution program run by AgeSpan of Lawrence.
A local farm will set up tables of fresh produce at Haverhill’s Citizens Center, 10 Welcome St., every Wednesday so that seniors can shop for what they prefer. The program gets underway Wednesday, July 9, at 10 a.m. and runs approximately eight weeks.
Residents must be a member of the Haverhill Council on Aging to participate in the community market program.
