Tickets for L’Arche Boston North’s popular outdoor dining event, The Longest Table, go on sale Monday.
The street-long dining table showcases Haverhill’s many participating restaurants, while proceeds benefit L’Arche Boston North’s residential care, support and job training opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities, says Jennifer Matthews, executive director.
Dinner is served Thursday, Aug. 21, from 6 to 10 p.m., along Wingate Street. If it rains, the event moves indoors at Bradford Country Club.
Tickets go on sale Monday, June 30, at 9 a.m., and the 250 seats, priced at $175 each, generally sell out in under an hour. Menus will be available beginning June 27 at LArcheBostonNorth.org. Table assignments are based on menu choices.
L’Arche operates five residential homes in Haverhill and neighboring Merrimac. It recently purchased the A-1 Deli on Merrimack Street and is refurbishing it as a job training site.
