Teaching, landscapers, case management and store associate jobs are among those featured this week when MakeIT Haverhill presents its latest, monthly job fair.
Community Action is seeking teachers, while Ground Care Landscape and Snow Professionals is looking to fill commercial and residential landscape positions; Opportunity Works is hiring drivers and case managers; and Ruth’s House seeks a part-time donations receiver and a part-time store associate.
Other participating employers are Covenant Health, operator of Penacook Place and Mary Immaculate; Crystal Engineering; DeLeoncare; state Executive Office of Health and Human Services; Salisbury Beach Carousel; Vinfen; and Waystone Health and Human Services.
The job fair is Thursday, April 24, from 3-5 p.m., at MakeIT Haverhill, 301 Washington St., Haverhill. Bilingual assistance is available for Spanish and Haitian Creole speakers.
In addition, the City of Haverhill is offering free blood pressure testing and Narcan and flu vaccines; Eliot Community Human Services will help with resume building, housing assistance and health support; and Haverhill Public Library offers library card signups, free children’s books and museum passes and more.
