Kathleen DuVal, historian and author, discusses her book “Native Nations: A Millennium in North America,” which centers the history of Native nations, from the rise of ancient cities over a thousand years ago to the ongoing struggles for sovereignty today.

The Haverhill Public Library says DuVal’s work sheds light on the resilience of Native peoples throughout history. The library hosts the Zoom presentation Monday, Nov. 25, from 7-8 p.m.
