Haverhill Firefighting Museum Plans 16th Annual Chili Cook-Off Oct. 19

As part of its mission, WHAV provides information and resources targeting health and wellness, food insecurity, after-school programs, education and housing to residents of Greater Haverhill and the Merrimack Valley. The Haverhill Firefighting Museum plans its 16th Annual Chili Cook-Off, a community event supporting the museum’s mission to preserve local firefighting history.

Contestants are invited to compete by showcasing their best chili recipes, while attendees can enjoy an evening of different chili tastes, cash bar, silent auction and door prizes.

The cook-off will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the Haverhill Firefighting Museum, 75 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill.
