For its final August Kids’ Program, Buttonwoods Museum hosts a reading of “We Are Water Protectors” by Carole Lindstrom, a story about the Ojibwe people.
Children in pre-k and kindergarten will learn about the importance of water in our world and paint a watercolor scene to take home afterwards.
The event takes place Thursday, Aug. 22, from 11 a.m. to noon at Buttonwoods Museum, 240 Water St., Haverhill. Preregistration is required.
