Calvary Baptist Church is welcoming students into the 2024 to 2025 school year with its Back-to-School Community Block Party.
Attendees can look forward to free activities, contests, food and entertainment with a focus on fellowship. The church will also be distributing back-to-school book bags, supplies and gift cards to incoming students. Community Action will be in attendance to provide additional resources and information.
The party is free and open to the public. It will take place Saturday, Aug. 17, from noon to 4 p.m., at Calvary Baptist Church, 13 Ashland St., Haverhill.
