Buttonwoods Museum hosts a teen game night Thursday as part of its “August Kids’ Program.”

Teens ages 13 and up can learn how to play the classic boardgame “Risk,” a strategy game based on historical warfare. Each game involves up to eight players, with teens playing either individually or in teams of two, who will compete to conquer territories on a battle map. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.

The event is free, but all players must register in advance either using the google form or by emailing the number of players for registration to  [email protected].

The game night will be held Thursday, Aug. 1, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Buttonwoods Museum, 240 Water St.
