Four new board members recently joined the board of the nonprofit Veterans Northeast Outreach Center.

They are Rick Bettencourt, a nationally recognized Veterans Administration mortgage expert and educator and past president of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers; John Bachmann, a nationally recognized insurance professional and author of three industry books; Haverhill City Councilor Ralph T. Basiliere, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who previously received assistance from the organization; and Beth Laliberty, a family law and general practice lawyer and business negotiator who is also the mother and daughter of veterans.

“These experienced and dynamic additions complement our existing board members and bring a wealth and diversity of board and nonprofit experience to our already fantastic team. Individually, they each bring a unique skillset to augment the suite of VNEOC board expertise,” the group said in a statement.
