Local elected officials have an opportunity this Friday to learn about, and discuss, various emerging issues at the local and state levels.
The Massachusetts Municipal Association hosts the networking session Friday, March 1, from 8:30-10:15 a.m., at North Andover Senior Center, 481 Sutton St., North Andover.
Organizers say it is one in a series of meetings across the Commonwealth for local leaders, legislators and Association staff. Massachusetts Municipal Association’s legislative staff will discuss the latest activity in the current legislative session which, they say, “has wide-ranging implications for cities and towns,” including the next state budget, the Municipal Empowerment Act, PFAS regulations, road and bridge funding, the Housing Bond bill and more.
