WCVB’s Stephanos Shares Journey in Groveland as Part of International Women’s Day

The Groveland Council on Aging is hosting a coffee and conversation with Maria Stephanos, NewsCenter 5 co-anchor, in celebration of International Women’s Day.

Stephanos, who grew up in Groveland, will share her journey during the free talk. The event highlights Stephanos’ influential role as a woman in power, tracing her career to her current position. Council on Aging Director Alyssa Lee says Stephanos’ narrative “embodies strength, resilience and the art of balancing a career, motherhood and everyday life.”

The presentation takes place Saturday, March 9, at 1 p.m., at the Groveland Council on Aging office, 183 Main St., Groveland. A reservation is required and priority is given to Groveland’s older adults through Feb. 28. Reservations may be made by calling 978-372-1101 or emailing [email protected].
