More than 200 residents turned out last Thursday when the Methuen Recreation Department and Methuen Police Department hosted the first “Skate with a Cop Day.”
The public joined officers at the Methuen High Ice Rink for skating. Skate with a Cop Day took place Thursday, from noon-2 p.m.
Earlier in December, Methuen Parks and Recreation’s long-running “Skate and Read” program took place with instructors distributing gifts to more than 300 children.
