Veterans and seniors who need help clearing snow this winter are again receiving support from CNA Stores and its fourth annual Snow Angel project.

Scott Winters, director of business development, for the company said the program is offered for income-eligible residents in Haverhill and Amesbury where CNA operates cannabis retail locations. Previously, he noted, Snow Angels in Haverhill have helped about 10 residents and cleared snow at all properties operated by Veterans Northeast Outreach Center. In Amesbury, about 25 senior residents have been helped.

Volunteers bring the stores’ own snowblowers and truck.

Those in Haverhill who need help are advised to call 311 in advance when City Hall is open. Some may have to dial the full number—978-358-1311. Those in Amesbury are advised to register with the Amesbury Council on Aging.
