Gudinas joins AgeSpan as Chief Development Officer

Maria Gudinas recently joined AgeSpan as chief development officer.

In her new role, Gudinas will develop, implement and expand the Lawrence-based agency’s fundraising program with a focus on establishing a culture of philanthropy within the organization.

Gudinas, of Atkinson, N.H., has more than 25 years’ experience in fundraising. She most recently worked as director of development for the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. Prior to that, she held senior level positions with University of New Hampshire, Granite United Way, Merrimack Valley YMCA and YWCA of Greater Lawrence. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics from Ithaca College and a master’s in public administration from Suffolk University.

She said she is pleased to be back in the Merrimack Valley and looking forward to overseeing development strategy for AgeSpan, formerly known as Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore.
