CNA Stores has designated Massachusetts Fallen Heroes—an organization honoring the memories of fallen servicemembers and supporting Gold Star families—as its December charity of the month.

CNA Stores, a veteran-owned cannabis company, with locations in Haverhill and Amesbury, places charity jars at every checkout to support charitable causes in Amesbury, Haverhill and neighboring communities. Last month, the designated charity was Veterans Northeast Outreach Center.

CNA Director of Business Development Scott Winters praised Massachusetts Fallen Heroes for its work to “fill in some of those gaps” when, as examples, a family member needs a ride or an adult child needs help getting a used car. There’s more about the organization here.

The company’s charity jars raised during this calendar year $124,000. Counting prior years, patrons have donated $285,000. CNA Stores additionally donated $186,000 and staff have provided 831.5 community service hours this calendar year—and 2,139 hours since the company opened.
