AgeSpan has earned its three-year accreditation for Case Management for Long Term Services and Supports from the National Committee for Quality Assurance for our Home Care Program.

AgeSpan has annually won accreditation, which “demonstrates strong performance of the functions outlined in the standards for Case Management accreditation,” since 2017.

“For individuals and families, the accreditation ensures that they are at the center of everything we do and that we maintain high-quality services,” said AgeSpan CEO Joan Hatem-Roy.

The state-funded Home Care program is one of the agency’s largest programs and serves 5,000 people monthly. Officials said the accreditation status demonstrates AgeSpan’s commitment to coordinating the delivery of care in a person-centered and integrated manner to help individuals live well in their preferred setting.

AgeSpan, formerly known as Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore, is a private, nonprofit agency dedicated to helping people across northeast Massachusetts maintain the highest level of independence, health and safety as they age.
