Driver Taken to Hospital After Car Found Friday on Railroad Tracks in Bradford

An 81-year-old man was taken to a local hospital Friday afternoon after first responders were sent to railroad tracks near the Joseph C. Comeau Bridge in Haverhill for a car parked on the tracks.

Haverhill Police, Fire and Trinity EMS responded around 4:15 p.m., Friday, while commuter rail service in the area was halted for more than an hour. The identity of man and his condition was not immediately known.

The car was ultimately removed from the tracks by Bradford Towing.
