Police Charge Haverhill Man, 36, with Murder Following Investigation into Oct. 8 Incident

A 36-year-old Haverhill man was charged Friday with murder in connection with an Oct. 8 assault in Lawrence.

A not guilty plea was entered for Kristopher Graciale during his arraignment before Judge Sarah F. Jubinville in Lawrence District Court. He agreed to be held without bail, and without prejudice until a pretrial conference planned for Nov. 21.

Essex County District Attorney Paul F. Tucker and Lawrence Acting Police Chief Michael McCarthy said Lawrence Police and EMS were dispatched Sunday, Oct. 8, just before 8 a.m., to Chandler Street in Lawrence where 36-year-old Nathan Mucci was found bleeding from the head and unresponsive on the on the sidewalk outside a home.

Graciale was found in Plymouth where he was arrested without incident.
