The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce’s Healthy Living Expo this Saturday in downtown Haverhill features free workout classes, wellness-forward food options and wellness-focused seminars.

Chamber leaders say the Healthy Living Expo provides an opportunity for people to meet with health and wellness professionals and participate in holistic classes that promote relaxation and stress management. It is aimed at promoting mental, physical, psychological and financial wellness.

“This is a great opportunity for the Haverhill community to celebrate and appreciate the numerous health-related businesses in the area,” said Chamber Vice President, Kate Martin, who has a public health degree and background. Martin adds she believes prioritizing health should be at the forefront of the community’s goals.

The expo takes place Saturday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Harbor Place Plaza, 2 Merrimack St, with indoor and outdoor space.

Events include Mindfulness with Teri from Wellness Hot Yoga at 10:15 a.m.; Bodyweight Bootcamp with Cedardale Health and Fitness, 11 a.m.; Nutrition Talk, noon; and Kid Yoga, at 12:30 p.m.

It is sponsored by AutoFair Ford of Haverhill, Anna Jaques Hospital, Pridestar Trinity EMS and Parkland Medical Center.
