A touch-a-truck and book drive takes place Friday to benefit the Haverhill YMCA’s Summer Youth Reading Program.
The Y, Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce, Merrimack Valley Central Labor Council and United Way of Massachusetts Bay are teaming up to host the touch-a-truck event Friday, July 14, from 3-7 p.m., at the Haverhill Public Works garage, 500 Primrose St., Haverhill.
Residents are asked to bring a new or gently used book for the drive.
