Nagarajan and Van Horn Join North Andover Historical Society as Trustees

The North Andover Historical Society welcomed Deepak Nagarajan and Andy Van Horn as new trustees during its annual meeting June 14.

The new trustees bring the board of directors to 11 members.

Nagarajan, of North Andover, is a software engineer at Cisco Systems and holds a master’s in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. Nagarajan is passionate about fitness and volunteers for his children’s basketball, volleyball and cross-country clubs. In his free time, Deepak enjoys tinkering with do-it-yourself electronics.

Van Horn is a 20-year veteran history teacher and athletic coach at North Andover High School. He teaches World History and International Relations as well as Advanced Placement U.S. History courses. When he is not teaching or coaching, he can be found reading or enjoying time with his wife Andrea and their three children, Reagan, Grant and Calvin.

In joining the board, Nagarajan and Van Horn say they wish to leverage their skills to demonstrate to North Andover residents and students that their stories are tied intimately to the history of North Andover.
