Shea Robertson of Haverhill has joined Downey Law Group/DLG Closing as a summer intern.
Robertson is entering his senior year at Merrimack College’s Honors Program, majoring in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Political Science. He is set to graduate next year, receiving his bachelor’s degree in three years instead of four, and hopes to be awarded a graduate fellowship from Merrimack College to complete his master in Criminology and Criminal Justice. From there he hopes to attend law school and become a practicing attorney.
“I am excited to spend this summer learning about different areas of law with Downey Law Group. One of my summer goals was to gain more practical experience outside of the classroom, and I am thankful that the managing attorneys at Downey Law are giving me this opportunity,” Robertson says.
He adds he hopes to learn more about residential and commercial real estate transactions, business law, estate planning and probate law.
