There were no injuries reported during a two-alarm fire Sunday afternoon at a Plaistow, N.H., apartment building.
Plaistow Fire Department said the fire was under control within 24-minutes of the 2 p.m. 911 call at 6 Barker St., Plaistow, N.H. Several pets were also rescued. Investigators said the preliminary cause of the fire appears to be electrical.
Officials said Plaistow Engine 8 arrived within three minutes and requested a second alarm. In addition, other Plaistow fire and police resources were deployed and mutual aid came from Atkinson, Newton, Kingston, Salem, Derry, Hampstead and Danville, N.H.; Haverhill and Merrimac; Trinity EMS and Trinity Rehab.
Station coverage was also provided by Sandown and East Kingston, N.H. and Amesbury.
