The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce is moving forward with in-person programs, such as its annual Mayors and Town Managers Breakfast and Business Expo, Health and Wellness Expo, taking into account recommended safety precautions.

The two Haverhill-based events take place Wednesday, Sept. 22, at DiBurro’s Function Facility in Haverhill. The annual breakfast forum brings together community leaders in the Merrimack Valley as Chamber Vice President Michael A. Bevilacqua discussed during an appearance over 97.9 WHAV last week.

“All the mayors and town managers throughout the Merrimack Valley will be speaking at that program, addressing the audience on updates on their cities and towns and that will be taking place at DiBurro’s in the morning at 7:30. It’s a great breakfast program and a great opportunity to meet your mayor or your town manager and ask your questions directly to them,” he explained.

Following the breakfast, the Merrimack Valley Chamber hosts its annual Business Expo, Health and Wellness Expo with free admission. Exhibitor space is still available.

Other events on the calendar include the free Shop, Stay, Eat Local Tourism Conference and Breakfast at Smolak Farms Friday, Sept. 24; annual dinner on a date to be announced during early October; and Annual Public Safety Breakfast with police chiefs from around the Merrimack Valley.
