Earlier this spring, Mike Wolfe, Frank Fritz and the team at American Pickers planned to look for exciting finds in this area during July, but the COVID-19 outbreak has forced filming to take place in September.

Mike and Frank are still looking for local and unique collections with interesting stories to showcase. In a statement, American Pickers said the group will continue to monitor the pandemic.

“We at American Pickers are taking the pandemic very seriously and will be following all guidelines and protocols for safe filming as outlined by each state. While we plan to be in New England in September, we will continue to reschedule if conditions change for the worse. Regardless, we are excited to continue to reach the many collectors in the area to discuss their years of picking!”

American Pickers is looking for large, private collections or accumulation of antiques that the pickers can spend the better part of the day looking through. Those who have such collections are asked to email name, telephone number, location and description of the collection with photographs to [email protected], call 855-OLD-RUST or visit GotAPick on Facebook.

As they hit the back roads from coast to coast, Mike and Frank say they are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, the Pickers want to “meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.”
