WHAV’s Community Spotlight is turning its attention to those civic and charitable organizations that make Greater Haverhill a wonderful place to live.
With the mission of promoting artists to keep art as an integral part of the community, Greater Haverhill Arts Association has provided opportunities to share art with enthusiasts since 1971. Focusing on several art forms, monthly workshops are available for all ages and skill levels to learn and improve through demonstrations by professional artists.
The Haverhill Art Festival, for example, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12 and is free to the public.
