Team Haverhill is holding its 13th annual “Possible Dreams” community brainstorming session Monday, March 9, at 7 p.m., at Northern Essex Community College.

The event, which is open to the public is celebrating its 13th year this year.

Kevin Burke, president of the organization, told city councilors Tuesday night there are many reasons for the public to participate.

“It is an upbeat community visioning event. It’s a conversation that celebrates Haverhill’s progress, elicits community aspirations and fosters new connections. It is basically a brainstorming session about the future of Haverhill with the whole city invited to attend,” he said.

The project was praised by the Haverhill City Council. Members pointed out a number of great ideas, such as expanding the Farmer’s Market, have come out of previous Possible Dreams events.
