The Greater Haverhill Chamber is showing the love just before Valentine’s Day with a speed networking event to increase contacts between attendees and their businesses in large quantities.
The event begins Thursday, Feb. 13, 5 p.m., at Haverhill Elks Club, 24 Summer St., Haverhill.
Similar to speed dating, speed networking will help businesspeople, entrepreneurs and job seekers the opportunity to network and create new business contacts quickly and with ease. Additionally, attendees can enter their business card for a chance to win a complimentary chamber email blast, a professional head shot and a business starter kit.
Joseph Poirier, COO of UCSA International, a digital marketing and business development company, offers his tips and tricks for effective networking. “I am passionate about teaching the basics of networking and the value it brings to one’s life—personally and professionally,” said Poirier who is the director of four local chapters of Business Network International.
Attendance is $5 for members and $10 for prospective members.
