The public has opportunities to shape policy this week as various Haverhill boards meet. In the interest of transparency in government, WHAV provides this list of upcoming meetings every week.

A recently vacated Central Square, Bradford, breakfast spot will soon be filled by Carbone’s Kitchen, operated by Kristen Carbone.

Carbone told WHAV she expects to open next month and the store’s specialty is “Italian-American, with an emphasis on fresh pasta and fresh sausage.”

Carbone is expected to be granted restaurant and entertainment licenses at a special meeting of the Haverhill License Commission Friday morning in room 118 of City Hall.

For more than two years, the 151 S. Main St. storefront had been occupied by Bradford Place Café, owned by Angela Pecorelli. Before that, it was Lakeview Kitchen.
