Ruth’s House, the Lafayette Square thrift shop, is thanking Haverhill Bank for matching the first $1,000 of Giving Tuesday’s donations.
Besides the public thrift store, operating since 1992, Ruth’s House gives referred clients season-appropriate clothing, including new socks and underwear quarterly; and provides seniors over 55 with winter coats and accessories.
Ruth’s House President Barbara Donegan says, “Haverhill Bank has long been a friend of Ruth’s House allowing our team to make a difference to those in need in the Merrimack Valley. This donation allows us to warmly clothe the children, seniors, families and veterans in the community — we thank all those that donated and Haverhill Bank for the match!”
