Lucinda “Cindy” Anne Daly, 62, of Haverhill, died Nov. 29, at High Pointe Hospice. with her loving family by her side. Raised and educated in Haverhill, she was a graduate of Haverhill High School, class of 1975. She then attended Providence College where she received her Bachelor’s degree. She taught grades 7 through 12 at the Grove School in Madison, Conn. She also worked for American Pool Service for many years, Rolm and Sprint.
Daly is survived by her siblings, Matthew J. Daly and his wife Margaret of Natick; City Councilor Mary Ellen Daly-O’Brien and her husband Thomas E. O’Brien of Haverhill; Barbara E. Jesionowski and her husband James C. of Haverhill; sister-in-law Jane (DeRoche) Daly of Kingfield, Maine; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth A., Julia E., Shannon M. and Bridget L. O’Brien, Tabitha E., John A. and Connor W. Daly, Jarek C. and Zachary W. Jesionowski, Ian J., Brianna M. and Christopher E. Daly; and aunt, Constance Aponas; and many beloved cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Jerome F. Daly.
Daly wanted her life to be celebrated, not mourned. To honor her request, wearing bright, happy colors would be appropriate. Donations may be made in her memory to the High Pointe Hospice House, 360 North Avenue, Haverhill, MA 01830
Calling hours are Tuesday, Dec. 3 from 4-7 p.m., at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St., Haverhill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10 a.m., in St. James Church, Winter Street, Haverhill. Burial follows in Maplewood North Parish Cemetery, 23 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow, N.H.
