Today’s Obituaries—Oct. 28: Lynch, Poley, Radford

John J. “Jack” Lynch Jr., 92, of Seabrook Beach, N.H., died Thursday, Oct. 24, at Hannah Duston Healthcare in Haverhill surrounded by his family. Born in Haverhill, Lynch served in the United States Navy during World War II and re-enlisted for the Korean War. He retired as an accountant for the former Western Electric/AT&T. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial takes place Tuesday, Oct. 29 at 11 a.m. in Sacred Hearts Church, Bradford. Burial is in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Haverhill and Bradford.

Joan C. (Belanger) Poley, 83, a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, died Oct. 23 at Lawrence General Hospital. She worked for Western Electric, Bradford College and Phillips Andover. A life celebration is planned for Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 4-7 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral begins Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Ave., Haverhill.

Carol Ann (Leary) Radford, 61, a resident of Plaistow, N.H. for 26 years, died peacefully Oct. 25, at her home surrounded by her family. A housewife and homemaker for most of her married life, Radford also briefly worked as a sales representative for Eagle’s Eye Co. Inc. A celebration of her life takes place Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 4-8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, N.H. Her funeral begins Wednesday morning, Oct. 30 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow. Burial follows in Holy Angels Cemetery.
