School Committee member Sven Amirian hosts a fundraiser for his re-election campaign Wednesday, Oct. 2 at Casa Blanca, 2 Essex St., from 5-8 p.m.
A donation of $25 is suggested and checks can be made payable to the Committee to Elect Sven Amirian.
Amirian is running for one of three open School Committee seats this Tuesday, Nov. 5. Also appearing on the ballot are fellow incumbents Scott W. Wood Jr. and Gail M. Sullivan and newcomers Thomas Grannemann, Toni Donais and Stephanie Viola. Voters will also cast ballots for Mayor and City Council on that date.
