Jimmy K’s Diner is on the move—up North! Three months after announcing plans to expand their Plaistow Road location this fall, the popular breakfast and lunch spot confirms they’re breaking ground on a second location in Seabrook, N.H. with the intention of opening by Sept. 1.
The new restaurant will be located at 264 Lafayette Road in Seabrook, Jimmy K’s said in a social media post last week.
Plans for the second spot comes on the heels of their relocation from 101 Plaistow Road to a space a few feet behind their existing space near the New Hampshire border.
As WHAV reported in April, the four-year-old eatery will grow from 2,300 square feet to about 3,000 when it moves into the $4.5 million Plaistow Road plaza that currently houses Chipotle Mexican Grill, Aroma Joe’s and Five Guys sandwich shop. Kobe Buddha House also plans to open there.
Jimmy K’s former space at 101 Plaistow Road was purchased by Janet Kupris to do business as Full Harvest Moonz, with Haverhill’s City Council issuing her a special permit for retail marijuana sales on July 12. She intends to open later this year.
