A Monday night shooting incident in the city’s Mount Washington neighborhood continues to be investigated by Haverhill police after officials say multiple shots were fired at a car on Ayer Street at 11:29 p.m. July 15.
Department spokesman Capt. Stephen J. Doherty Jr. tells WHAV officers were dispatched to 51 Ayer St. and that the car was occupied at the time but no injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing, Doherty said.
