Cheri Crider, a survivor of sex trafficking, is headed to Haverhill on Tuesday, July 23 to talk about her experiences during a free lecture at the Haverhill Public Library from 6-8 p.m. in the auditorium. The session, called “Human Trafficking: A Public Health Crisis,” is open to all, but those attendees under age 17 are required to have a parent or guardian present.
Crider plans to discuss the negative health and psychological impacts the sex trafficking industry can have and provide some ways to prevent more children from getting involved.
No registration is required, but seating is limited. For more information on this event, contact Brendan at 978-373-1586 ext. 608.
