Bridgework continues on the Haverhill stretch of Interstate 495 North and South overnight this week, with two left lanes closed Monday night, July 8 through Friday morning, July 12.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation says a single left lane will close each night from 8-10 p.m., with the two left lanes closed from 10 p.m.-5 a.m. Signage will be used to alert drivers to the closures.
This portion of the construction project will see permanent road markings replaced with temporary ones.
MassDOT encourages drivers to seek alternate routes and plan for travel delays.
