Well, a new report by Pew Research Center confirms about eight in 10 Americans ages 12 and older listen to over-the-air radio, like 97.9 WHAV, in a given week. In 2022, 82% of Americans ages 12 and older listened to terrestrial radio in a given week, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

WHAV is Greater Haverhill’s only public radio station and nonprofit local news service. Support this local information powerhouse with your support here.
