Hilldale Cemetery Trustee Thomas Spitalere reached out to Morrison for help with an abandoned washing machine, propane bottles and tires—some appearing to date back to the 1920s. A 20-year-old man who escaped from a Lawrence pre-release center was recaptured Tuesday after stealing a car and driving through Haverhill and Plaistow and Sandown, N.H.
