A year living with COVID-19 and its aftermath has taken a heavy toll on lives, senses of well-being, jobs, donations and almost everything else that normally means community.

WHAV hopes you and your loved ones are safe and well.

During the current health crisis and despite falling financial support, WHAV expanded hourly local newscasts to keep you up-to-date on what’s open or closed, what has been cancelled or postponed, lists of vaccination options, breaking news and other critical information. WHAV has also allocated more air time for live interviews with newsmakers on the front lines and meetings and coverage of the Haverhill City Council and School Committee; increased the number of Merrimack Valley Newsmakers podcasts and where they may be heard; provided special coverage of personal and business relief programs; aired public service announcements; and added more time for disc jockeys to take your calls and requests. This is what neighbors do for one another.
