Temporary repairs to Haverhill’s Pfc. Ralph T. Basiliere Bridge over the Merrimack River will reduce travel to one lane on Wednesday. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said Monday afternoon there will be permanent lane closures and restriping of the Route 125 bridge. A 27-year-old Methuen man pleaded guilty last Thursday in federal court in Boston to using stolen identities to fraudulently obtain more than $452,000 in Economic Injury Disaster Loan funds from the Small Business Administration and to disguise the source of the money. Greater Lawrence Technical School is the recipient of a $5,000 grant from the Laura Bush Foundation for America’s Libraries.
