Growing beyond AM radio, the first WHAV-FM signed on 75 years ago today. With few FM receiving sets and the domination of AM radio at the time, this first launch of WHAV-FM didn’t last. WHAV was ahead of its time and, thanks to members like you, it still is.

There were no injuries reported, but 11 residents were displaced early this morning when a three-alarm fire ripped through a three-unit building on Bellevue Avenue in Haverhill.
