Déjà vu?

It probably comes as no surprise that the word he word “news” is derived from the word “new.”

WHAV strives to present local news while it is still “new” and fresh. To the contrary, others present variations days or weeks later on stories WHAV reported first. Thus, some get the feeling of déjà vu—French for “already seen.”

WHAV members take pride in making sure local news is available free to everyone regardless of ability to pay. They realize an informed public makes for better neighbors, employees, volunteers, customers, leaders and voters.

WHAV, Greater Haverhill’s only public radio station and nonprofit local news service, invites new members to help spread the word by reviewing the many giving options here.
