Earl “Bud” Smith was a Haverhill meteorologist who found a place on-air when WHAV launched 75 years ago. He worked in an age without sophisticated radar or satellites and acknowledged the shortcomings of the time. He explained in a promo for his forecasts.

Rocks Village Drawbridge Span to Remain in Open Position for Marine Traffic; Still Closed to Autos
